LASIK

Struggling with vision issues? Curious about the cost of LASIK? Modern LASIK at Mueller Vision could be the life-changing solution you need for a clearer, more vibrant future.

EVO ICL

Our eye doctors are among the most experienced and skilled EVO ICL surgeons in Dallas-Fort Worth and across the U.S. As the only certified EVO ICL Surgical Trainers in the metroplex, they are highly sought after to teach their advanced techniques to other surgeons.

SMILE LASIK

What makes SMILE LASIK stand out? It’s a completely blade-free, all-laser procedure, offering a safer and more comfortable experience. Say goodbye to glasses and contacts, and welcome crystal-clear vision with SMILE laser correction.

PRK

PRK is a cutting-edge laser eye surgery that corrects nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. By reshaping the cornea, the eye’s outer layer, it allows light to focus properly on the retina, resulting in clear vision without the need for glasses or contacts.

Refractive Lens Exchange

Refractive Lens Exchange enhances your vision by replacing your natural lens with a customized artificial implant. This allows you to enjoy the freedom you’ve been longing for, fully engaging in your favorite activities without the constraints of visual limitations.

Cataract Surgery

Are things around you starting to look blurry? Tired of struggling to see clearly? These could be signs of cataracts. The good news is there’s an effective solution to treat cataracts and restore your vision!

Corneal Cross-linking

Corneal cross-linking (CXL) is a procedure designed to strengthen the cornea, the eye’s clear outer layer that helps focus light. It’s used to treat conditions where the cornea becomes thin and irregularly shaped, leading to vision issues.

Glaucoma

Imagine waking up and realizing the world around you is slowly fading, as if you’re looking through a tunnel with blurred and distorted vision. This is the experience of losing sight to glaucoma—a silent thief that can steal your ability to see the beauty around you.

Dry Eye

Do your eyes feel scratchy, irritated, or fatigued? You’re not alone. Dry eye is a common condition that affects many people and disrupts daily life. At Mueller Vision, we understand the discomfort and are here to help you find lasting relief.

Conditions We Treat at Mueller Vision

Myopia
“Nearsightedness”

Myopia, also known as nearsightedness, is a common refractive error where distant objects appear blurry while close-up vision remains clear. It occurs when the eye is too long or the cornea is too curved, causing light to focus in front of the retina.

Hyperopia
“Farsightedness”

Hyperopia, or farsightedness, is a refractive error where distant objects are seen clearly, but close-up vision is blurry. It occurs when the eye is too short or the cornea is too flat, causing light to focus behind the retina.

Astigmatism

Astigmatism is a common vision condition where the cornea or lens has an irregular shape, causing blurred or distorted vision at all distances. This irregular curvature prevents light from focusing properly on the retina.

Presbyopia
“Over 40 Vision”

Presbyopia is an age-related condition where the eye gradually loses its ability to focus on close objects. It typically starts around age 40 as the lens becomes less flexible, making it difficult to read or see up close. Presbyopia can be corrected with reading glasses, multifocal contact lenses, or advanced treatments like lens implants or LASIK.

Cataracts

Cataracts are a clouding of the eye’s natural lens, leading to blurry vision, difficulty with glare, and faded colors. They develop gradually, often as a result of aging, and can eventually impair daily activities like reading or driving. Cataracts are treated with surgery, where the cloudy lens is replaced with a clear, artificial lens implant to restore vision.

Keratoconus

Keratoconus is a progressive eye condition where the cornea thins and bulges into a cone-like shape, causing distorted and blurry vision. This irregular corneal shape affects the way light enters the eye, leading to challenges with activities like reading and driving. Treatments for keratoconus include specialized contact lenses, corneal cross-linking, and in advanced cases, corneal transplant surgery.

Dry Eyes

Dry eye syndrome occurs when the eyes don’t produce enough tears or the tears evaporate too quickly, leading to discomfort, redness, and blurred vision. This condition can be caused by factors such as aging, environmental conditions, or prolonged screen use. Treatments for dry eye include artificial tears, prescription eye drops, and lifestyle changes to manage symptoms and improve tear quality.

Pricing & Financing

You may have heard that LASIK is a smart investment choice and can actually be less expensive than glasses or contact lenses over time. The average cost of LASIK eye surgery in the Dallas Fort Worth area is $2632 per eye. These prices will vary based on the technology used in the surgery as well the experience of the surgeon. When selecting your LASIK surgeon do your homework and talk to people about the role of modern LASIK technology.

Just had my cataract removed from my right eye by Dr. Mueller. Even though there was some nervousness on my part the surgery went well and was quite painless. Dr. Mueller and his staff are very attentive and explained everything to me beforehand and as he went during the procedure. My surgery is only a few days old but I can already tell a huge difference in my eyesight. I've never had a surgeon take the time to call me himself after a procedure to see how I was doing, but Dr. Mueller did exactly that, that evening. In my book you can't go wrong trusting your precious eyesight to Dr. Mueller! I'll be having my left eye done in a few days and am looking forward to seeing everything more clearly. My thanks to him and his staff as well as to the staff at the surgical facility where the procedure was done.

What a great visual experience from start to finish. That's no pun intended bc the office environment is visually appealing and relaxing as well. I just loved Dr.Crowell's energy. But only is she bubbly and energetic, but super knowledgeable as well. She patiently and honestly answered my questions as I went in with a specific concern. Instead of trying to drag me into surgery for the money, she was like "no big deal right now so let's just keep an eye on it."

Can here after discovering the EVO ICL option corrective eye surgery as an alternative to LASIK. Dr. Mueller and staff were nothing short of exceptional. They are very thorough with the pre op, surgery, and the extensive follow ups. My vision has dramatically improved and I’m already seeing 20/15 after 2 days of the procedure. For anyone considering this route, please try Mueller Vision. Dr. Mueller was one of the investigators giving trial to the FDA for getting EVO ICL approved!

My experience with Mueller Vision has been amazing! I had been battling recurrent corneal erosion after an eye injury for a tad over two years. Initially, I would have an episode every few months or so and I was kinda, sorta okay with that. Unfortunately the frequency of the erosions began increasing and that is when I decided to visit Meuller Vision. They performed a procedure (don't know the exact name of the procedure) to remove the damaged layer of my cornea. I am now three months post-op and so far, so good. Thank you to Alondra, Amy, Dr. Crowell and Dr. Meuller. You guys are great but I hope to never have to see you again.
