Experience What Life Could Be Like After LASIK in Fort Worth

Dallas-Fort Worth,Featured

Do you dream of sharper, clearer vision? A life without contact lenses or glasses?

Then, LASIK could be the perfect way to improve your vision! LASIK is an incredible procedure that can give you the high-definition vision and freedom from visual aids you’ve always wanted!

Plus, it has high patient satisfaction rates, is minimally invasive, and is low-risk. Have you ever dreamed of beach days free of glasses, no longer needing to depend on contact lenses while you jet away on a boat, or simply enjoying waking up with crystal-clear vision every morning? Keep reading to discover what life could be like after LASIK in Fort Worth!

What is LASIK?

LASIK is a refractive laser eye procedure that corrects nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. Have you ever experienced blurry vision while trying to see something up close or at a distance?

These are classic signs of having a refractive error. You may already wear visual aids like glasses or contact lenses, but there are a lot of frustrations that come with these.

However, LASIK helps dispel many of these frustrations while allowing you to finally enjoy the joys of achieving visual freedom. Want to wake up and go?

LASIK is good for that! Want to stop feeling like you’re always getting out of the zone during your workouts because your glasses slide down your nose?

LASIK is good for that, as well! LASIK is a permanent laser vision correction procedure that’s outpatient, meaning you’ll go home after it’s complete.

It only takes a few minutes per eye, allowing you to get back to what you love, but with significantly better vision than you’ve ever had before. But how does it work?

LASIK uses a femtosecond laser and an excimer laser to correct refractive errors, which occur due to irregularities in the cornea, which is the clear part of your eye that surrounds the rest of your eye. LASIK can correct these refractive errors by removing small amounts of corneal tissue with these lasers to improve your vision.

However, LASIK does more than leave you with your original prescription. It also corrects your vision so that it’s better than what it was with visual aids.

It’s no accident that most LASIK patients end up with 20/20 vision or better after the procedure! That means you’ll see more clearly, in higher definition, and have better depth perception than before.

LASIK creates a flap in the cornea made from the top of the cornea lifted to access the cornea for the procedure. It’s then replaced after LASIK and acts as a natural bandage that helps your eyes heal.

LASIK will not only change your life, but because of its minimal recovery process, you can get back to the things you love in less time while enjoying them with the kind of vision you may have once thought you could only dream into existence!

The Procedure and Recovery are a Breeze!

LASIK only takes a short time, and thanks to numbing eye drops applied before the procedure begins, it’s also entirely painless. Once you go home after LASIK, the numbing eye drops may start wearing off. You may begin experiencing some discomfort at this time, but most patients feel fine after a day or two.

Although it does depend on the patient, most start noticing almost immediate and instant improvements to their vision after LASIK. The best part?

Your vision will only continue to get better as your eyes heal! There’s nothing like knowing that your clear vision is just the beginning after you’ve just had LASIK.

In the days and weeks after the procedure, get ready to start noticing the little details, like leaves on the street, flowers while you’re driving, or seeing colors at their most vibrant. LASIK helps you see the world in its most high-definition, whether you’re indoors in bright lights or outside watching the stars.

You’ll reach your peak vision once your eyes are completely healed, but until then, you’ll need to take a few precautions, like not rubbing your eyes, not wearing eye makeup for a week, and avoiding contact sports for a month. Your LASIK surgeon at Mueller Vision will give you a complete list of precautions to ensure your vision heals as it needs to after LASIK.

However, after LASIK and its short recovery, you can live your life like usual, except you’ll finally experience the world in beautiful, stunning clarity!

Thrive In Fort Worth

One of the main draws of LASIK surgery is visual freedom. Can you imagine what a life without contact lenses and glasses could be like?

LASIK can open up your world by helping you shed the annoyances of traditional visual aids. Without contact lenses or glasses weighing you down, you can do more.

You’ll have more time and energy to enjoy your life and see all the places you love in Fort Worth or explore new ones! Have you ever seen a car race?

With less to worry about in your daily life, you’ll be able to do all kinds of fun and spontaneous activities in Fort Worth and beyond! Stop thinking about if your contacts will get dry and ruin your day, and instead, live in the moment, thanks to LASIK.

Invest In Yourself

LASIK is an investment in your future. The procedure permanently changes your vision, meaning it doesn’t “wear off.”

You may notice your vision changing as you age, but that’s because LASIK cannot prevent age-related vision loss. However, you can look forward to decades of incredible, unassisted vision by getting LASIK now!

Not only is that an investment in your future happiness, but it’s also an excellent financial investment! Getting LASIK will help you save on all the expenses of glasses and contact lenses.

LASIK essentially pays for itself after a few years, especially if you use financing. So feel comfortable indulging, knowing you’ve made good financial decisions.

Take in the luxury of Fort Worth with a shopping trip to Crockett Row at West 7th or Magnolia Avenue. Make a whole day of it, enjoying the cafes, restaurants, and all the best stores!

With crystal-clear vision, you’ll be able to find things you’ve never seen before! Whether that’s the perfect new dress, a vase for your home, or earrings that complete your look, LASIK will help you feel like the best version of yourself.

Just had my cataract removed from my right eye by Dr. Mueller. Even though there was some nervousness on my part the surgery went well and was quite painless. Dr. Mueller and his staff are very attentive and explained everything to me beforehand and as he went during the procedure. My surgery is only a few days old but I can already tell a huge difference in my eyesight. I've never had a surgeon take the time to call me himself after a procedure to see how I was doing, but Dr. Mueller did exactly that, that evening. In my book you can't go wrong trusting your precious eyesight to Dr. Mueller! I'll be having my left eye done in a few days and am looking forward to seeing everything more clearly. My thanks to him and his staff as well as to the staff at the surgical facility where the procedure was done.

What a great visual experience from start to finish. That's no pun intended bc the office environment is visually appealing and relaxing as well. I just loved Dr.Crowell's energy. But only is she bubbly and energetic, but super knowledgeable as well. She patiently and honestly answered my questions as I went in with a specific concern. Instead of trying to drag me into surgery for the money, she was like "no big deal right now so let's just keep an eye on it."

Can here after discovering the EVO ICL option corrective eye surgery as an alternative to LASIK. Dr. Mueller and staff were nothing short of exceptional. They are very thorough with the pre op, surgery, and the extensive follow ups. My vision has dramatically improved and I’m already seeing 20/15 after 2 days of the procedure. For anyone considering this route, please try Mueller Vision. Dr. Mueller was one of the investigators giving trial to the FDA for getting EVO ICL approved!

My experience with Mueller Vision has been amazing! I had been battling recurrent corneal erosion after an eye injury for a tad over two years. Initially, I would have an episode every few months or so and I was kinda, sorta okay with that. Unfortunately the frequency of the erosions began increasing and that is when I decided to visit Meuller Vision. They performed a procedure (don't know the exact name of the procedure) to remove the damaged layer of my cornea. I am now three months post-op and so far, so good. Thank you to Alondra, Amy, Dr. Crowell and Dr. Meuller. You guys are great but I hope to never have to see you again.
